Take it in and don't mention you declined the road hazard. Maybe they


won't notice. We used to plug holes, but when I had one done a few years ago they wanted to put a tube in (and it was there nickel, so it was fine).

Glad you were able to change it quickly and with no mishaps. Depending on the location, I might be tempted to ruin the tire and drive to a safe place.
